Copenhagen-based Reform  makes Ikea-compatible cabinet fronts, has us going goo-goo like the little design babies we are. And with good reason. They offer cabinet fronts and countertops designed by renowned architects in amazing finishes and colors. OUr current favorite is the diagonally grained Degree line by Cecilie Manz

Subtle yet warm, Reform Diagonal in wood laminate.

Or perhaps you want to step it up a level. You can get even fancier with the powder-coated Fold by Sigurd Larsen collection. As the designers say:

Simple lines are created by cutting, folding and assembling one piece of aluminum. The characteristic folds and powder coating give the design a pure expression that is pleasant to touch

If you’re looking for something less severe, but equally as chic you might consider the Basis line, inspired by 1960’s architect kitchens. Basis offers painted, veneer, linoleum, and even brass fronts with inlaid finger pulls instead of bulky knobs.
